College Counseling /Director of College Counseling

这个岗位的职责是

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive college counseling program that aligns with the academic goals and values of JPED Academy.

2. Provide personalized counseling to students and families, offering guidance on college selection, application strategies, and financial aid options.

3. Stay abreast of trends and changes in college admissions, scholarship opportunities, and standardized testing to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared with students.

4. Organize and facilitate college fairs, information sessions, and workshops to educate students and parents about the college application process.

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with college admissions officers, fostering connections that benefit JPED Academy students.

6. Collaborate with academic staff to ensure students are prepared academically for college admissions requirements.

7. Assist students in creating compelling college application materials, including essays, resumes, and recommendation letters.

8. Coordinate and supervise standardized testing logistics, including test preparation initiatives.

9. Provide support for scholarship applications, ensuring students are aware of and have access to relevant opportunities.

10. Utilize technology and resources to streamline and enhance the college counseling process.

我们期待你

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in college counseling, with a proven track record of successful college placements.

2. Strong knowledge of international college admissions processes, particularly in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and college representatives.

4. Familiarity with a variety of college counseling tools and resources.

5. Demonstrated commitment to staying current on trends and best practices in college admissions.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community of students, parents, and colleagues.

7. Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
