Beacon International College (formerly known as Beacon School of Technology) is a private education institution which is registered (ERF) with the Committee for Private Education (CPE) in Singapore. Beacon has been approved for 4 years enhanced registration (200606284M- valid from 02/08/2022 to 01/08/2026).

It is set up to provide quality education to students who aspire to pursue a career in Information Technology, Hospitality, Business or Design.

Beacon’s management team consists of the Principal, Ms. Lee, who has more than 30 years of industrial and teaching experiences, and senior executives who are qualified in their own areas of expertise. Together the management team possesses the breadth and depth of experience in academia, industry, business and corporate governance.

Beacon’s lecturers are highly qualified professionals, most of whom are Master degrees holders.

Bacon College Singapore's China office has a new approach to global recruitment and is a professional office directly under the school in China. A targeted strategy is also developed to create as well as position the Bacon College Singapore China office as the primary recruitment channel for the student market. Interviews for this position will hold recruitment targets for the assigned market, usually a geographical area or channel cluster. The role is business development focused and is committed to driving the market, pursuing growth and diversification. Including direct recruitment, managing agents, schools etc., this position will advise students and stakeholders to maximise the conversion rate of Bacon College Singapore China office from applicant enquiries to registered students at various institutions.

Regional Recruitment Officer


这个岗位的职责是

1、Conduct student recruitment activities such as attending exhibitions and career planning conferences and visiting schools or colleges to meet or exceed agreed KPIs and annual student recruitment targets.
2、Deliver regional recruitment strategies and aspects of the recruitment pipeline, managing individual and team performance (where applicable).
3、With regard to planning, delivery and evaluation of the University's content and outreach plans (including rolling plans)
4、Develop and maintain agency channels (networks) to assist with student recruitment, e.g. maintaining links with other educational institutions and effective organisations that contribute to student recruitment).
5、Develop and expand relationships with the High Commission, embassies, overseas offices, etc. in a planned manner.
6、Ensure that Bacon College Singapore has access to a comprehensive database of information about the market, and that a detailed understanding and survey of the potential student market is conducted, with written reports and recommendations provided as necessary.
7、Share data to support the optimal timing of future recruitment cycles, forecast market trends and opportunities to gain an edge over competitors and develop recruitment plans for your area of responsibility.
8、Report to the Regional Recruitment Manager on individual and team contributions to recruitment, annually with speculation and suggestions for improvement.
9、Effectively utilise CRM and other technologies to convert students to enrolment.
10、Make decisions on applications and provide support to the Admissions and Counselling team in the Bacon International College Singapore China office.
11、Maintain and update expertise and awareness of trends across the industry and share best practice processes.
12、Represent the Singapore China Office at meetings and external events as required.
13、Responsible for other duties within the scope and spirit of the job, the title of the position and its grade.

  • Education/Qualifications
Essential:
Degree (or equivalent)

Advantageous:
Advanced Degree, Professional Sales qualification, or other professional management qualification.

  • Experience
Essential:
1、Proven record of accomplishment in sales, where the approach is to develop medium- to long-term markets and pipelines.
2、Experience in commercial/educational sales roles in a relevant industry which sells high value and complex services to both individuals and organisations.
3、Demonstrable experience of effective team membership/ supervision within a target-based approach to personal and team achievements.

Advantageous:
1、Experience of a complex multisite or multi-national organisation which sells training or education to individuals and organisations.
2、Experience of supervising a sales team, with proven results of implementing successful growth strategies with results focussed approach to delivering targets.
3、Experience of working within a strongly customer-focused and sales, target-driven Singapore Higher Education environment.

  • Skills
Essential:
1、Ability to set and work to achieve ambitious performance targets (KPIs).
2、Results driven, possessing a proven record of accomplishment of delivering against ambitious targets.
3、Exceptional organisational and planning abilities.
4、Exceptional change and project management skills.
5、Outstanding persuasion and influencing skills (including oral, written and presentation skills), and the ability to influence and debate at senior levels, to get the right result.
6、The ability to build relationships with key decision makers.

Advantageous:
1、The ability to successfully negotiate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver student recruitment targets.
2、Excellent IT skills – preferably in a sales or recruitment context.
3、Evidence of commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive.
4、Evidence of a solution focused approach to team and stakeholder problems.

  • Other Requirements
1、A flexible approach to hours of work within a 5/7 working pattern to include evenings and weekends, as required.
2、Acceptance that there will be annual leave restrictions at key recruitment and admissions periods.
3、A willingness to travel for work associated with the role as required.
